Creative processes.

Creating the radio show was an interesting process that challenged us to work together, be creative, and make use of our editing skills.  We started the project off slow, then we decided on creating a script that would set the guild line we would follow to complete the assignment was the best course of action. After the script was complete we assigned who was responsible for what role and we all had to go record the individual audio for our charterers. We all also made unique bumpers and ads, we picked the best ads and used them for our podcast. After the audio was recorded I was responsible for editing and adding sound effects into the podcast, this process was difficult at first but once I had all the moving pieces in order and found a style/theme to follow the edits came out very nice. I was able to add laughing, transitions between scenes and questions, music, a ding for answers, and some different sounds that help the listener understand the mood that’s being expressed ex: using piano noise to build suspense. Once my part was complete I sent it off for the final editing and for the ads and bumpers me and my group mates created to be added into the podcast the final draft. Overall I’m satisfied with the completed project and think my group members did amazing with communicating and getting the work done, we set a plan and followed the plan any issues that we ran into were resolved quickly and as a group, leading to a successful end product.
